In Ukraine, the continuation of the nationalization of private enterprises is possible against the backdrop of such a decision on five companies, which was made the previous day. This was announced on Monday, November 7, in an evening speech by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
We are talking about the transfer of the assets of Motor Sich JSC, PJSC Zaporizhtransformator, PJSC AvtoKrAZ, PJSC Ukrnafta and PJSC Ukrtatnafta to state ownership.
“Today, a decision was announced to some businesses in Ukraine. This decision was dictated by military necessity and announced at the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander.
Five strategic enterprises were forcibly separated for wartime needs. Some of them barely work – now all will work for defense.
This is the repair and production of equipment, the provision of defense forces, work on the restoration of our infrastructure – a complex task that can only be carried out through the system of military-state administration.
I do not rule out other similar decisions,” said the head of state.
Earlier it became known that the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market made a decision on the compulsory alienation of shares of PJSC Ukrnafta, PJSC Ukrtatnafta, JSC Motor Sich, PJSC AvtoKrAZ, PJSC Zaporizhtransformator in state ownership.
