The occupiers also blew up the high-voltage lines leading to Kherson. It is impossible to repair the damage quickly.
The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevich, said that there are problems with electricity supply in Kherson and other settlements of the region due to the fact that the invaders blew up the high voltage lines. Yanushevich wrote this on Sunday evening, November 6, in Telegram.
“It was found that the occupiers also blew up the high voltage lines going to Kherson. Therefore, power supply problems started in the regional center and some other settlements.” Yanushevich said.
According to him, Russian troops blew up high-voltage power lines in the temporarily occupied Berislav. About one and a half kilometers of supports and lines were destroyed.
“The city is left without power, because the damage is quite large. It is impossible to quickly repair the damage – there are not enough specialists, equipment, and the Russian invaders will not agree to do it. Probably, there will be no electricity in Berislav until the occupation of the city is completely removed,” he said.
In addition, according to the head of the Regional State Administration, Russian terrorists also mined water wells in Berislav. In total, there are 14 of them in the city. How many of them are mined – the information is specified.
It will be remembered, today RosSMI reported that Kherson and more than ten settlements were left without electricity.
It was also reported that the Ukrainian military is approaching Kherson and is forcing the enemy to prepare defensive fortifications for battles outside the city. Judging by satellite images, the invaders are strengthening the defense on the right bank of the Dnieper.
