For a stable and balanced operation of the energy system, it is necessary to reduce consumption by 30%.
On Monday, November 7, emergency blackouts will apply in Kyiv. Schedules won’t work. It was reported to the Kyiv city state administration. Shutdowns are also planned in seven regions.
“On November 7, the deficit in the energy system is predicted to be 32% more than what was set for the stabilization closing schedules. Therefore, on November 7, NPC Ukrenergo issued an order to apply emergency power outages,” the Kyiv City State Administration said.
According to the agency, the emergency blackouts in the capital will begin at 7:00. This is necessary to prevent shortfalls in the power system and prevent overloading of high-voltage infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Ukrenergo reported that it gave distribution network operators (obenergos) volumes to limit electricity supply on Monday for consumers in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv regions , Poltava.
“In these regions, the network suffered the most damage. For a stable and balanced operation of the energy system, it is necessary to reduce consumption by 30%,” said Ukrenergo.
They added that from 6.00 until the end of the day schedules of planned restrictions will be implemented. In addition, oblenergos can implement emergency consumption restrictions using emergency shutdown schedules. Such measures are necessary to prevent shortages and prevent overloading of high voltage infrastructure.
Remember that the authorities of Kyiv do not exclude that the capital as a result of the attacks of the invaders may be left without water, light and communication. In this case, the authorities are likely to evacuate millions of people. But this does not mean that the city authorities are now preparing to carry out the evacuation.
