Russia is preparing for a new massive attack on Ukrainian infrastructure with the help of Iranian missiles. Ukraine is preparing to respond.
The troops of the Russian Federation are gathering forces for a new mass strike on Ukrainian cities. For this, Russia ordered ballistic missiles from Iran. This was announced on Sunday evening, November 6, by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He clarified that we are mainly talking about energy infrastructure strikes.
“The terrorist state is concentrating forces and means for a possible repetition of a massive strike on our infrastructure. First of all, energy. For this, Russia needs Iranian missiles. We are preparing to respond,” he said.
The head of state noted that today he discussed with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen Iran’s responsibility for participating in the Kremlin’s armed aggression.
“The Iranian regime must be punished. And we will raise this issue not only at the level of our traditional partners. The whole world will know that the Iranian regime is helping Russia to continue this war,” Zelensky stressed.
He also added that everyone who helps Russia continue this war should be responsible for the consequences of this war on him.
Earlier, Iran admitted that it had indeed supplied drones to Russia, but according to Iranian officials, this was done before the start of a full-scale war by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. In turn, the President of Ukraine said that the words of the Tehran official were lies.
It was also reported that Zelensky discussed with von der Leyen macro-financial assistance to Ukraine for the current and next year.
