Ukraine is strengthening its position in all directions, however, the greatest attention is now directed to the Donetsk region.
The main topic of the meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander on Wednesday, November 2, was the difficult situation in the Donetsk region. President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about this in his evening video message.
“The agenda of the Headquarters is quite obvious – this is the situation on the front line, especially in the Donetsk region, where heavy fighting continues,” Zelensky said.
According to the president, it is difficult here now – dozens of Russian attacks every day. But the Ukrainian troops stood firm and “did not give up a centimeter.”
“This is true heroism, and I thank all those who defend our Donetsk region!” added the head of state.
He noted the tenacity of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade in repelling enemy attacks.
Zelensky added that the Headquarters is considering the situation in other areas.
“We are strengthening our positions everywhere and working towards one main goal – the complete liberation of the entire land of Ukraine,” Zelensky summed up.
The president also spoke about the failure of the Russian invasion and promised that Ukraine would ensure the defeat of the terrorist state and its punishment for terrorism.
Recall, earlier it became known that Zelensky held a meeting of the Headquarters, where, among other things, they discussed the restoration of critical infrastructure facilities and the preparation of troops for the period of winter.
