In Ukraine, 94% of educational institutions are ready for the heating season. This was said by the Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet on the air of the telethon.
“If, for example, at the end of last week the readiness of educational institutions for the heating season was at the level of 91%, now it is 94%,” he said.
According to Shkarlet, colleges are 81% ready; vocational education institutions – by 92%; schools – 94%; pre-school education – 95%.
The minister clarified that the situation is different in the regions. So, in Kyiv and 13 regions are 100% ready, in the rest of the territory the indicators are 90% and higher.
At the same time, in addition to heating in the school, the temperature regime in the shelters is also an important factor.
“If the temperature regime in the shelter does not meet sanitary standards, then by decision of the council of teachers and directors, the educational institution can be transferred to remote classes for this time,” said Scarlett.
According to him, in the absence of heat or electricity in educational institutions, they cannot be forced to study full-time.
