Ukraine has repeatedly offered the Russian Federation to move away from the practice of point exchanges and conduct a large-scale “all for all” exchange, but has always been refused.
The Ukrainian authorities are trying to release all the prisoners in the hands of the occupiers and, perhaps, another exchange will be carried out this week, the Ombudsman of Ukraine Dmitry Lubinets said on Tuesday, November 1, on the air of telethon.
According to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War continues to communicate with the Russian side, but negotiations are becoming difficult.

“It is a long process, but our task is to return everyone. Until we return everyone, both civilians and prisoners of war, our work will not be finished. Therefore, believe me, we will all continue doing it,” said Lubinets.
The Ombudsman added that Ukraine has repeatedly offered the Russian Federation to move away from the practice of point exchanges and conduct a large-scale exchange “all for all”, but has always been rejected.
“At the moment, the Russian Federation refuses to do this. It is difficult to say why. Perhaps, in this way they reserve the right to drag this process somewhere, to contact someone for a long time. And do not want I’m getting ahead of myself, but I hope that this week we will have positive news,” said Lubinets.
Remember that we freed 52 Ukrainian prisoners – officers, doctors, sergeants and soldiers.
