France supplies Milan anti-tank missiles and Caesar self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with Ouest-France.
“We still provide a huge amount of equipment, from Milan to Caesar, including certain types of weapons. I think we should continue on this path,” he said.
According to the publication, the French Caesar is an off-road truck equipped with a 155-mm cannon capable of hitting a target at a distance of 40 km with high accuracy. It is produced by Nexter and exported to seven countries. Since 2008, 77 installations have been delivered to French artillery units.
According to sources, 12 Caesar guns for Ukraine will be removed from the army stock.
It was noted that Ukraine’s artillery will also be strengthened by artillery supplied by the United States (these are towed guns of 155 mm caliber) and the Netherlands, which will supply 64 German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled guns.
Recall that France has provided a range of fire -fighting equipment to Ukraine.
