The economic and political pressure on the country that threatens other states should only intensify, the president believes.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, called on all countries of the world to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. On Wednesday, October 26, the head of state said in an evening speech to Ukrainians.
“Russia as a terrorist state – a terrorist in everything deserves the daily strengthening of international pressure on him,” Zelensky emphasized.
He also expressed gratitude to the countries that understand this.
“I am grateful to those leaders and to those politicians who understand and ensure this. I am grateful, especially, to the Polish Senate, which decided to officially recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. And such decisions should be done by most countries of the world – Russia itself, by its actions, leaves alternatives,” added the president.
It should be noted that the Polish Senate recognized the authorities of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime. In particular, the Senate calls on all countries that stand for peace, democracy and human rights to recognize the Russian government as a terrorist regime and to give full support to the International Criminal Court, which is investigating Russia’s crimes in Ukraine .
