Polish parliamentarians have voted for a resolution declaring Russia’s ruling regime a terrorist.

The Polish Senate unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing Russia as a terrorist regime. The corresponding document was developed by a group of senators. This was reported by the press service of the Senate on Wednesday, October 26.

“The Senate unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the authorities of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime,” the press service said.

The document condemned Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. In particular, it states that Ukraine today is a country that defends democracy and freedom. At the same time, the Russian Federation uses terrorist methods, bombing civilian objects: kindergartens, schools, theaters and residential areas.

The Polish Senate notes that the leader of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin and his entourage “returned to the brutal practices of the Stalinist and Nazi regime.”

Polish parliamentarians have also encouraged other countries to take similar steps towards Russia.

The Senate of the Republic of Poland once again strongly condemns the Russian aggression and calls on all countries that stand for peace, democracy and human rights to recognize the government of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime.

Recall that the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Thursday, October 13, adopted a resolution in which the Russian Federation was recognized as a terrorist regime.
