Russian troops continue to attack critical infrastructure, which is why a total economy of light has been introduced in Ukraine.

Almost 40% of the country’s energy infrastructure has been affected by rocket attacks and drone attacks. This was announced on Saturday, October 22, by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko in an interview with Reuters.

“The strikes of the Russian aggressors since October 10 have inflicted on at least half of the thermal generating capacities of Ukraine, 4,000 MW have been lost. I must tell you that this is at least half of the thermal generating capacity , even more,” said Galushchenko , outlining the extent of the losses.

However, according to the head of the Ministry of Energy, there is a way out of the crisis. One option is to import electricity, with some traders already in talks with suppliers.

Recall that on the morning of October 22, the enemy launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. As a result of the strike by Russian troops in Ukraine, 1.5 million subscribers were left without electricity.
