The former head of the British government plans to take part in this fight after his vacation.
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to take part in the race for the leadership of the Conservative Party. This was said by Sky News, citing Conservative MP James Duddridge.
According to him, he spoke on the phone with Johnson. The latter informed him that he would take part in the elections for the position of leader of the Conservatives and, accordingly, the Prime Minister of Britain.
The former prime minister assured that he is “ready for it.”
He will deal with this issue after he returns from a vacation in the Caribbean, Duddridge added.
According to the representative, Johnson answered his question about plans to participate in the elections as follows: “I will do it.”
It will be remembered that the British media predicted before that Boris Johnson intends to fight for the position of the head of the British government after the resignation of Liz Truss.
