Planned blackout schedules are planned to be improved, Vladimir Kudritsky said.
Planned power outages will continue to apply, however, they plan to make schedules more comfortable and consistent for the population. This was said by the head of the board of the company Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky on the air of the telethon.
“Next week, Ukrenergo will analyze the statistics on the restrictions in all regions, how effective these restrictions are, how well the orders of the dispatchers are fulfilled. And together with the regional energy teams, we will try make these outage schedules more consistent, more fair. … these schedules are more balanced to be more comfortable for our citizens,” he said.
Currently, a lot depends on how quickly specialists can restore the work of some power plants, Kudritsky said.
“I think it’s a matter of a few weeks, but it doesn’t mean that the restrictions will be applied every day during these few weeks. We will look at the situation and, if possible, we will certainly avoid forced restrictions on consumption of electricity,” he summarized..
As previously reported, Ukrenergo showed in which regions Ukrainians saved electricity on October 20.
