Saudi Arabia has begun construction of the futuristic metropolis The Line. The project, which was announced in 2021, was announced by Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in July.

So, in the video published by OT Sky, you can see how excavators dig wide trenches in the desert. The city, 170 km long, 500 meters high and only 200 meters wide, located in the northwestern province of Tabuk, can accommodate approximately nine million people.

The city will be powered by renewable energy sources, including wind, solar and hydrogen, and will be the first city in the world powered by renewable energy sources.

Most of NEOM is expected to be completed by 2025, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 timeline.

It was previously reported that Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia intends to build a building called the Mirror Line with a height of 480 meters.
