So, two sources close to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation said that Sukhanov was fired because of the explosion on the Crimean bridge that occurred on October 8. According to one of the interlocutors of the publication, the resignation may be announced before the end of this week; according to the second – it can still be “replayed” or delayed.
The press service of the Russian government did not respond to a request from journalists, the Ministry of Transportation refused to comment.
Remember, on October 8, an explosion and fire were recorded on the Crimean bridge connecting Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea. A freight train caught fire on the rail portion of the bridge, and part of the roadbed collapsed on the vehicle portion.
