The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is actively working with international partners to supply Ukraine with energy equipment that will help overcome the consequences of Russian terrorist attacks. This was reported by the press service of the department.
According to Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine has sent requests for appropriate assistance through the NATO Crisis Response System (EADRCC) and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (EARCC).
Ukrainian diplomats also turned to several dozens of international and non-governmental organizations and private companies with a request for the supply of generators, their parts and spare parts, as well as equipment for the GTS .
“We have already received the first positive responses about the readiness to provide the requirement in the shortest possible time,” said Kuleba.
So, we have already been able to agree on the first deliveries from Italy, France, Lithuania, Finland, Germany and Poland.
It was noted that the first of nearly 600 pieces of equipment will arrive in Ukraine next week.
It will be recalled that approximately 40% of the total infrastructure and building capacities were destroyed as a result of shelling by the invaders.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine has developed a detailed set of economical electricity consumption by the population, businesses, institutions and organizations under martial law.
