The Kremlin announced a meeting of the Security Council on October 19 – with a speech by ex-president Dmitry Medvedev. Sources of the publication “Layout” in the Federation Council reported on the possible introduction of martial law in the Russian Federation. However, Putin’s speaker Dmitry Peskov said that the meeting would be scheduled.

According to the Kremlin press service, issues related to migration will be discussed at tomorrow’s meeting of the Security Council. The meeting will be held by Putin via videoconference. Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Medvedev will make a report.

The Nestka publication reported that Russian senators received SMS that the plenary session of the Federation Council would continue after the break from 17:00 (usually it ends at 15:00).

Two sources of the publication claim that the agenda of the Federation Council will be linked to the agenda of the meeting of the Security Council, which states migration issues.

The senators interviewed by Nestka suggested that tomorrow they could introduce martial law or carry out personnel changes in the power bloc of the government of the aggressor state.
