The protection of the Rivne AKS, located in the city of Varash, is being strengthened due to the “interest” of the enemy in the energy system of Ukraine.
This was announced today, on October 17, in his Telegram channel by the head of the Rivne OVA Vitaliy Koval.
It is noted that the Council of Defense of the Rivne region decided to take additional security measures and instructed the Varas RVA, the city council and the RNPP within the sanitary protection zone of the facility:
- install checkpoints with checkpoint functions on access roads and equipment of engineering fences on field roads;
- restrict the movement of personal vehicles and individuals who are not employees of the Rivne NPP;
- change the traffic pattern of route vehicles in order to move them outside the sanitary protection zone;
- prohibit the use of DVRs on vehicles;
- prohibit photography, video filming and the use of UAVs inside the sanitary protection zone.
Today there is an extremely important synergy between all those involved in the defense of the region. Especially between those responsible for strategic facilities in our region,” Koval notes.
Recall that today DTEK reported that one of the thermal power plants was damaged as a result of Russian shelling.
