Prisoners of war in Ukraine can become blood donors if their “health consent”, says Sergey Leonov.
The representative of the Russian State Duma from the Liberal Democratic Party Sergei Leonov proposed to use Ukrainian prisoners as blood donors. He said this on Wednesday, April 20, on the occasion of national donor day.
“In light of today’s donor day and the events in Ukraine, we cannot help but offer prisoners of war in Ukraine to be mandatory blood donors for our Armed Forces, hospitals and hospitals where they are treated. Russian soldiers, as well as civilians who suffered the shelling of the Ukrainian army ”Leonov said.
At the same time, he clarified that Ukrainian prisoners of war can become blood donors if their “health permits.”
It will be recalled that last week it was learned that the Russian occupiers had captured about 700 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. More than a thousand civilians are also being held hostage.
And on the eve it was reported that Ukraine and Russia held the fifth exchange of prisoners. The Ukrainian side received 76 people.
