On the territory of the village of Borodyanka in the Kiev region on Wednesday, April 20, two mass graves were found, where the bodies of nine civilians were shot by the occupiers. This was announced by the head of the regional police Andrey Nebytov.
“There were two 35-year-old companions in a grave, and a 15-year-old girl nearby. In the second grave, law enforcement found the bodies of six people-4 men and 2 women,” he noted. . .
Law enforcement identified the seven killed – they were ordinary residents. The names of the other two have not yet been revealed.
“These people were killed by the occupiers, some of the dead had signs of torture. I want to emphasize that these people were civilians. The Russian military deliberately shot civilians who did not fight. and did not pose any threat, ”Nebytov said.
The bodies of all the dead were taken to the morgues of the Kiev region for further examination. Subsequently, the identified corpses will be given to relatives for burial.
Earlier, the head of the Borodyanka village council, Georgy Yerko, said that work on removing the rubble has already been completed in the village. Overall, rescuers recovered the bodies of 41 people. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, about a hundred residents of the village have fallen victim to the invaders.
