Today, October 15, the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union adopted the final Resolution, strongly condemning Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
It is reported that, despite strong opposition from Russia, parliamentarians from 119 countries of the world unanimously adopted a document that provides a clear assessment and condemnation of the war launched by Russia against Ukraine.
“Among the amendments included in the urging of the Ukrainian delegation: Russia started a war in Ukraine in 2014; in addition to mass casualties, the ongoing aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has caused one of the largest displacement crises in the world, with more than 7 million Ukrainian refugees and more than 6.9 million internally displaced people.
