“I spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman. I thanked for the support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the resolution at the UN General Assembly. We agreed on cooperation in the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war. Agreed- we agree with the provision of macro-financial assistance by Saudi Arabia to Ukraine,” the president wrote.
At the end of September, through the mediation of the prince of Saudi Arabia, Ukraine returned the foreigners who fought for our country from Russian captivity. These are citizens of the USA, Great Britain, Sweden, Croatia and Morocco. A total of 10 people were released.
Recall that Ukraine was able to conduct another exchange of prisoners of war and free 20 soldiers from captivity.
According to the authorities, about 2.5 thousand Ukrainians are in Russian captivity.
