Residents of Russian Belgorod on Wednesday afternoon, October 12, again heard explosions, including in the area of the airport. This was reported by local Telegram channels, which also published photos and videos from the scene.
Residents of Belgorod heard the so-called “pops” at 13:00. It sounded near the northern districts of the city and near the settlement of Stroitel, located north of Belgorod.
Note that there is also an airport north of Belgorod.
The Belgorod authorities assured that this was the “means of anti-aircraft defense”. There was no information about casualties and damage from the authorities.
However, local residents wrote that after the explosions, a fire started in the airport area.
“The frequency of shelling is increasing every day! Is it really necessary to evacuate?!”, Russians wrote publicly.
