Leaks affecting the Nord Stream gas pipelines connecting Russia and Germany are “an act of international terrorism,” Russian President Vladimir Putin denounced Wednesday, arguing that the incident benefits the United States, Poland and Ukraine.
“The beneficiaries are clear (…) Since (this incident) enhances the geopolitical significance of the remaining gas systems, the one that runs through the territory of Poland (…) and Ukraine, and which Russia built, bearing the costs. Putin offers Turkey to become a distribution center for Russian gas
