In Paris, 20 ACMAT armored personnel carriers are being prepared for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as a fund in the amount of 50 million euros, with which Ukraine can purchase military equipment from French companies.
The French authorities intend to transfer to Ukraine 20 units of modern ACMAT Bastion armored personnel carriers and 50 million euros for the purchase of other military equipment. About this on Monday, October 3, report military analysts from Oryx.
According to them, France will provide the Armed Forces with 20 Bastion armored personnel carriers and another 50 million euros for the purchase of weapons from French companies.
Note that the Bastion is a modern French armored personnel carrier produced by ACMAT. During development, the chassis of the VLRA armored car was used.
The Bastion was originally built for French special forces operating in Africa. There are also several modifications of the armored car.
