The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine yesterday, September 30, decided to introduce new packages of sanctions against legal entities and individuals involved in a full-scale war against Ukraine. Overall, the sanctions concern 3,600 people. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
On the new list of sanctions:
children and relatives of Vladimir Putin and his inner circle;
representatives of regional and Russian authorities;
oligarchs and their inner circle;
artists and propagandists, including citizens of Ukraine;
collaborators who went over to the enemy’s side;
senior officials of public corporations;
representatives of the top leadership of the Russian armed forces;
representatives of the self-proclaimed “government” of the so-called “L/DPR”, the occupying authority of Crimea and the leaders of illegal armed groups operating in the occupied territory of Ukraine.
The sanctions also apply to foreign citizens – the so-called international observers who participated in the pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In addition, restrictions were imposed on major banks, businesses of the military-industrial complex, mining, energy, communications, logistics and other areas.

Recall that the United States imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation for the annexation of Ukrainian territories. The sanctions lists include representatives of business, the Russian military and politicians, as well as their families.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden said the United States will never recognize Russia’s claims to Ukraine’s sovereign territory and will impose new sanctions against Moscow if it annexes new Ukrainian territories.
