Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated his readiness to facilitate negotiations between Ukraine and Russia
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today, September 29, held a publicized telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Office of the President of Turkey saying goodbye, that the conversation was mainly about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

In addition, Erdogan reiterated that he is ready to facilitate negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, noting that they need to be given “one more chance.”

Earlier, the Turkish President assured that Ankara does not recognize the illegal “referendum” of the Russian Federation on the occupied territories of Ukraine and considers Crimea as Ukrainian territory.
