The Ukrainian president called the condition in which negotiations with the Russian leader would be impossible.
If Russia were to annex Ukrainian territories, following the example of Crimea, negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin would be impossible. This was said by the Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message on the evening of Wednesday, September 28.

“Russia’s implementation of the so-called Crimean scenario and another attempt to annex Ukrainian territory means that there is nothing to discuss with this Russian President. This is clear and understandable,” he said.
At the same time, the Ukrainian president stressed that the occupiers’ “referendums” will not change anything for Kyiv and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This farce in the occupied territory cannot even be called an imitation of referendums. … We will act to protect our people in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, and in the Donbass, and in the occupied regions of Kharkiv region, and in Crimea,” he assured Zelensky.
Finally, he emphasized that the response of Ukraine’s partners to “such audacity of the occupier” is defense support, finance and sanctions for our state.
It should be noted that Zelensky also announced the “red line” for negotiations with Putin during his speech at a UN Security Council meeting.
“I want everyone to understand this. Russia’s recognition of these pseudo-referendums as normal, the implementation of the so-called Crimean scenario and another attempt to annex Ukrainian territory means that there is nothing to talk about President of Russia. Annexation is a step that puts him alone against all humanity. This is certainly a clear signal that is now required from every state in the world,” he said.
Remember that the Russian occupiers have already announced the “results of referendums” organized in the occupied Ukrainian lands.
