Peskov on negotiations: As the situation changes, the conditions change

Peskov said that “the Ukrainian side completely left the path of negotiations, so the special operation continues.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced the readiness of the Russian Federation for negotiations with Ukraine at the end of the war, as well as changing their conditions depending on the situation. RBC writes about it.

“The President said that Russia remains ready to negotiate. But as the situation changes, so do the conditions,” Putin’s spokesman said.

According to him, “the Ukrainian side has completely left the negotiation track. Therefore, the special military operation continues.”.

Recall that Peskov previously said that Russia currently does not consider the prospects for a political and diplomatic settlement of the war in Ukraine.

It was also reported that Turkey continues to try to hold a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Kremlin head Vladimir Putin.
