Turnout in the referendum reportedly exceeded the required mark of 50%, taking into account foreign polling stations.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, the fake “referendum” organized by the Russian aggressors is still ongoing, but its results are already known. This was announced on Tuesday, September 27, by the collaborator Vladimir Saldo, who was appointed by the occupiers as the “head of the administration” of the region.

“Our citizens have the opportunity to calmly go to the “polling stations”, so the assessment will be given today. But it is clear that the majority of those who went to the “polling stations” supported the exit of the Kherson region from Ukraine and join Russia,” Saldo said.

The previous day, Kherson’s collaborators said that the turnout in the “referendum” exceeded the required mark of 50%, taking into account “foreign polling stations”, so it was considered valid.

Earlier on Tuesday, the media reported that the Kremlin intends to create a new “federal district” in the occupied territories of Ukraine – “Crimean”.
