Ukrainians in Thailand will be able to extend their visa-free stay. During the high season, it is possible to stay in the country for 45 days instead of thirty. This was reported in TRAVEL RBC-Ukraine by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
The Thailand COVID-19 Situation Management Center has approved a proposal to extend the stay of tourists from visa-free countries, including Ukraine, to 45 days.
Citizens of Ukraine can stay in Thailand under the tourist visa exemption scheme from October 31, 2022 to March 31, 2023. This extension was proposed by TAT to encourage the upcoming high season, which normally runs from October to March.
Ukrainians can stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for up to 45 days without a visa with the possibility of extending the visit to the area for another month. And for a longer stay in the country, you need to apply for a visa.
During the six months from October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, the duration of the visa-free stay will increase to 45 days for citizens of the following countries:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg , Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, UAE, UK, Ukraine and USA .
It can be remembered that in early summer, Thailand removed the quarantine requirement for tourists from around the world.
