Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the country maintains neutrality in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Iran laments worsening relations with Ukraine over reports of delivery of Iranian drones to Russia. This is what Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said, IRNA reports.

According to him, Iran maintains neutrality in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Kanani also mentioned “the need for a political settlement of disputes.”

It should be remembered that yesterday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine removed the Iranian ambassador from accreditation, and also reduced the number of diplomats in the Iranian embassy in Kyiv.

Remember, the advisor to the head of the President’s Office, Mikhail Podolyak, spoke harshly about the transfer of Iranian drones to Russia, saying that Iran had decided to support the killing of Ukrainians.

Earlier, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said that the role of Iran in the Russian-Ukrainian war will not be answered by Western countries, a reaction will surely follow.
