Since the evening of September 21, huge queues of people wishing to leave the territory of the Russian Federation have formed at the Russian-Georgian border.
After the mobilization announced by Putin, Russians began to flee the country. As a result, huge traffic jams formed on the border between Russia and Georgia at the Upper Lars checkpoint. According to the Telegram channel Echo of the Caucasus, in order to cross the border by car, one must stand in line for at least 10 hours.
However, Russians who wanted to quickly escape from Russian territory began to change to bicycles and scooters.
“You cannot cross the border on foot, but with roller skates, scooters and bicycles, you can pass the border guards faster, in a separate row,” explained the SOTA Telegram channel.
It should be noted that the condition for crossing the Russian-Georgian border – “to get on wheels” has become a “gold mine” for some enthusiastic local residents.
It should be noted that the Upper Lars checkpoint is the only land crossing where you can legally enter Georgia, all other methods are either illegal or involve a fairly large detour through the territory of Azerbaijan.
As reported, during the mobilization in Russia they plan to call at least 300 thousand people.
The secret seventh paragraph of the order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin contains other information about the amount of mobilization in the Russian Federation: up to 1 million Russians may be drafted into the army, according to the media.
Experts have called the move in Russia “Putin’s funeral campaign.”
