Russian activists opposed to mass military conscription are preparing new protests.
The Vesna movement called on the citizens of the Russian Federation to take new actions against mobilization. Rallies are scheduled for Saturday, September 24, at 17:00 across Russia. Representatives of the movement announced this on their Twitter account on Thursday, September 22.
“The next protests against the graves (this is what the participants of the mobilization action call – ed.). September 24, 17:00 – throughout Russia. The graves are actively taking place throughout the country. As soon as possible time thousands of our men can go to the front. We can and must speak out!” – said the message.
The movement also states that the ultimate goal of the actions is “not a protest for the sake of protest, but a victory against the criminal Putin regime.” The protest against the mobilization is for “the interest of millions of fellow citizens,” and “getting a fine or a few days of arrest is better than a funeral,” Vesna participants said.
The movement promised to name the cities on Friday, September 23, on their Telegram channel. They plan to name the places where people gather on the day of the action, so that “it will be more difficult for the police to prepare.”
The movement calls on Russians to be “loud and visible” at the rallies, so that the protest can be seen and heard by those around them, “don’t hand over the protesters to the police” – to drive away those who are being dragged into the fields. wagon, but “don’t use violence against the police.”

It will be remembered that after the Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the partial mobilization of the Russian Federation, information appeared that Russians were trying to leave the country en masse.
At the same time, in Moscow, some of those detained in anti-mobilization protests were summoned to military registration and enlistment offices.
