Russian propagandists called the explosion a terrorist act by Ukrainian special services, while the mayor of Melitopol had a different version.
“The explosion thundered in Melitopol, initially in the area of the central market, the authorities of the Zaporozhye region reported. The explosion in Melitopol was a terrorist attack by the Ukrainian special services aimed at terrorizing citizens on the eve of the referendum, 3 people were injured, no one threatens their lives, regional authorities told RIA Novosti,” – said the message.
After some time, the mayor of the city Ivan Fedorov commented on the situation.
“Terror, fear and the extermination of unwanted people are the three sides that Russia continues to show in the occupied territories. And before the pseudo-referendum, the cleansing of themselves is intensifying. Today, in the Central Market of Melitopol, where there is always a large crowd of people, the racists made an explosion and liquidated three military men. Information about the civilians we identified”, – wrote the mayor.
It will be remembered that in the temporarily occupied Melitopol at the end of July, they found the body of a 13-year-old girl, who was searched for almost a month. The girl was raped before she died.
