United States President Joe Biden said on Tuesday it was “irrational” to deport migrants coming from those countries to Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua and confirmed that he was working with Mexico to stem the flow of those arrivals.
The President assured the press at the White House that the situation at the border is “completely different” from what it was under the previous administration of Donald Trump (2017-2021), as “fewer migrants are coming from Central America and Mexico.”
“Now I am attentive to Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua. The possibility of sending them back to these countries is not rational,” said the leader of the Democrats. Joe Bidenwho added: “We are working with Mexico and other countries to see if we can stop the (migration) flow.”
Given rumors that Republican governors may send undocumented migrants to Delaware, where Joe Bidenthe president simply replied in a mocking tone, “Come to Delaware, it’s a beautiful state.”
Migration in debate
