The enemy attacked the dam in the Kharkiv region – General Staff

Since the beginning of this day, the enemy has launched seven missiles and 20 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

Russian aggressors tried to destroy the Pechenezh reservoir dam in the Kharkov region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening summary on Tuesday, September 20.

So, on the current day, the Russian invaders launched seven missiles and 20 air strikes, carried out more than 15 attacks from MLRS on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs. of warfare.

As a result of the terrorist actions of Russian troops, the infrastructure of more than 20 settlements has suffered today. Among them are Slavyansk, Seversk, Soledar, Bakhmut, Ugledar, Stepnoe, Nikopol and Ochakov.

During the settlement of Pechenegy, the conquerors tried to destroy the dam of the Pechenegsky reservoir on the Seversky Donets River, but they did not succeed.

In the direction of Volyn and Polesye, the situation does not change.

In other directions, the enemy carried out shelling from tanks, mortars and different caliber artillery:

• in the Seversky direction – in the areas of settlements of Mikhailovo and Guta Studenetskaya of the Chernihiv region and Novovasilievka and Ryasnoye of the Sumy region;

• in the direction of Slobozhansky – in the areas of the settlements of Kazachya Lopan, Strelechya, Glubokoe, Dergachi, Figolevka, Dvurechnaya, Shevchenkovo, Kupyansk and Kamenka;

• in the direction of Kramatorsk – Yarovaya, Prishib, Donetsk, Serebryanka, Shchurovo, Raygorodok, Ozernoye, Krivaya Luka, Nikolaevka, Seversk, Ivano-Daryevka, Rozdolovka, Aleksandrovka and Grigorievka;

• in the direction of Bakhmut – Verkhnekamenskoye, Vyemka, Controversial, Veseloye, Belogorovka, Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Veselaia Dolina, Otradovka, Nikolaevka Second, Zaitsevo, Mayorsk and New York;

• in the direction of Avdeevsky – Krasnogorovka, Maryinka, Novomikhailovka, Pervomayskoye;

• in the direction of Zaporozhye – Novoselka, Novopol, Vremka, Velyka Novoselka, Ugledar, Novomayorskoye, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Gulyaipole, Malinovka, Krasnoe, Dorozhnyanka, Maly Shcherbaki, Malaya Tokmachka and Kamenskoye.

• in the Yuzhnobugsky direction, more than 25 settlements were subjected to shelling by the enemy. In particular, Vysokopole, Mirolyubovka, Novogrigoryevka, Belogorka, Blagodatovka, Shirokoye, Zarya, Shevchenkovo, Ternovye Pody, Pravdino, Mirnoye and Aleksandrovka.

As a result of the successful actions of the units of the Defense Forces in the directions of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky, the enemy continues to suffer heavy losses, informed the General Staff.

Defense Forces units are repelling enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Veseleye, Kurdyumovka, Nikolaevka Vtoraya, Zaitsevo, Mayorsk, Pervomayskoye, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka.

On the current day, to support the actions of ground groupings, Defense Forces aircraft hit 12 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment and a position of an anti-aircraft missile system.

In addition, Ukrainian air defense units destroyed an enemy UAV.

Rocket and artillery troops inflicted fire damage on 30 enemy targets during the current day. In particular, out of 17 places of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 10 places of concentration of artillery, as well as three ammunition depots. Total enemy losses are specified.

Remember that Russia lost almost 55 thousand soldiers who were killed during the war against Ukraine. In the past day alone, at least 160 Russians have been liquidated.
