Gaidai predicts that “it could be tough” next week so people should take the opportunity to leave now.
The head of the military administration of the Lugansk region, Sergei Gaidai, called on residents of the frontline zone, where, according to him, the fight for Donbass continues, to temporarily leave for a safer place. In such an appeal, Gaidai addressed the residents of the region on Sunday, April 17, on his Facebook page.
Gaidai predicted that next week “could be tough.”
“The fewer civilians left on the front line, the faster the defense forces will deal with the Russian occupiers,” he said.
He also stressed that it is unworthy to rely on the fact that you can “sit” during this time at home.
“What can we survive? Carpet bombing? Can children psychologically what they see? Is it stubbornness? Is it irresponsible? Are you willing to die voluntarily? I haven’t heard any readable answer,” he complained.
Upon evacuation, he urged not to delay.
“Maybe the latter, when we still have a chance to rescue you. How can this happen? Perhaps, in the traditional fascist way in the morning, when you open your eyes to a bomb shelter from a terrible roar,” he wrote.
According to him, Ukrainians should know that “the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ready to meet the Russians, and in such a way that the” guests “quickly want to run home.”
“Ukraine’s‘ hospitality ’is limitless,” he added with a smiley face. “How quickly our defenders deal with the burden is up to you. Stay alive is the only thing you need,” he added.
Recall that the Russian occupiers dealt another blow to the industrial plant in Lisichansk.
The other day, in Lisichansk, Lugansk region, the Russian military fired on volunteers. The couple Andrei and Olga were burned. The man died on the spot. The woman is in critical condition at the hospital.
