The pace of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the liberation of Ukrainian territories from Russian occupation should be maintained.
Since one of the key aspects of the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is the return to normal life in the liberated territories and their restoration – the pace. This was stated in the evening summary of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dated September 19, published on his Facebook page.
Now it is very important – this is the pace. Rate of stabilization in the liberated areas. The pace in the movement of our troops. The rate of restoration of normal life in the liberated territory and the rate of support for partners,” the head of state noted.
The President added that it is necessary that the pace of assistance to Ukraine match the pace of movement of Ukrainian troops. In particular, this issue was discussed on September 19 at a meeting of the headquarters of the Supreme Commander.
Zelensky said that the authorities are already stabilizing the situation in the liberated districts of the Kharkiv region and are holding their positions there so tightly that the occupiers are “noticeably panicking.” He noted that the collaborators and military of Russia have two options for the development of events – flight from Ukraine or captivity.
The head of state also thanked the police for the speedy restoration of law and order in the already liberated territories.
Recall that the US State Department praised the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the swift counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region, but said that it was too early to predict how this counter-offensive would end, since Russia still keeps a large number of military personnel, equipment and ammunition in Ukraine.
