Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces have been repelling enemy attacks in the areas of settlements of Nikolaevka Vtoraya, Veselaia Dolina and Bakhmut. The Aviation of the Defense Forces during the day carried out 21 strikes against the enemy, confirmed the defeat of 16 places of concentration of manpower and strongholds, and five positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. This was stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 19.
It was noted that rocket troops and artillery during the past day had the effect of fire on more than 14 enemy targets. In particular, at six control points, three fortresses and areas of concentration of military personnel and equipment. Air defense, electronic warfare facilities and three ammunition depots fell in the affected area.
It is also reported that over the past day, the Russians have launched three missiles and 22 air strikes on objects in Ukraine, as well as more than 90 attacks from multiple rocket launch systems. Since the beginning of this day, the enemy has carried out three more missile strikes.
The infrastructure of more than 30 settlements suffered. These are, in particular, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Soledar, Belogorye, Novopol, Pervomayskoye, Temirovka, Dry Pond, Mirolyubovka, Petrovka, Bereznegovatoe, Belogorovka, Disputed, Krasnogorovka, Stepnoe and Olgovskoe.
The enemy continues to focus on attempts to completely occupy the Donetsk region, organize the defense and maintain the occupied territories, as well as interrupting the active operations of the Defense Forces in some areas.
In the directions of Volyn and Polesye, the situation has not changed significantly.
