“As a result of a natural disaster, one person died, a wall fell on him. Eight people were injured, including: two people with moderate injuries in a local hospital; a woman with a broken arm in Sumy ; “, he reported.
About 20 private houses were left without roofs. There are damaged houses. The gas station and several other non-residential areas in the community were damaged, Zhivitsky said.
“Rescuers are pulling people out of the rubble. So far, four people with minor injuries, one woman has been hospitalized at Konotop Central District Hospital. A six-month-old child was also injured, and is now in hospital,” he said.
Part of the community was left without electricity, emergency teams of power engineers are working in the area. “The work continues to evacuate people from the affected houses. The buildings themselves are covered with slate and film from material reserves,” said the chairman of the Regional State Administration.
