Several Russian independent media outlets have released footage from a Russian prison showing the recruitment of Wagner mercenaries imprisoned by an allegedly private company to participate in the Russian military campaign in Ukraine.
The video was released by the team of imprisoned Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who claims that the prisoner recruiter is businessman Yevgeny Progozhin, who is considered the founder of the Wagner Group and is close to the Kremlin.
“We were sent a video showing Putin’s “boss” (Vladimir) recruiting prisoners without rights. And without pretense,” Ivan Zhdanov, former director of the banned Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), wrote on Telegram.
Progozhin is called Putin’s “cook” for organizing his official banquets.
“War is hard”
In the video, the recruiter claims that after six months of fighting in Ukrainethe prisoners will be free.
He also warns that “war is hard” and that not everyone will return alive.
In addition, he sets the age limit of 50 years for those who want to take advantage of the offer.
It states that they recruit prisoners from the age of 22.
Among the things prohibited during the term of the contract are desertion, the use of alcohol or drugs, looting, as well as “sexual contact with Ukrainian women.”
Recruitment of prisoners for the military campaign in Ukraine was previously condemned by some human rights organizations in Russia.

“Espacio Vital”: Dr. Gabriela Calderón Valencia, breast and soft tissue oncology surgeon, explained that a young breast cancer group is called when a woman is younger than 40 years old. He clarified that in developed countries, the prevalence is between 5% and 7% among people under 40 years old, and in undeveloped countries – 20%. This may be due to the lack of timely assistance and the lack of proper diagnosis. He pointed out that many times young patients arrive with symptoms but they are ignored and the attending physician must be very careful with a group of young women with breast cancer. They should go to the primary level, and if they don’t find a solution, they should go to the second level of care.
