The President of Poland said there is no reason not to seek reparations from the Russian Federation for war crimes.
Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Poland should demand war reparations for the damage caused during World War II not only from Germany, but also from Russia. He said this in an interview with Wprost.
“Germany started World War II and attacked Poland. Of course, Russia joined this war. Therefore, I believe that reparations should also be demanded from Russia,” he said.
According to Duda, “there is no reason not to ask for it (reparations from Russia).”
Remember, the Polish Sejm on September 14 adopted a resolution in which it called on Germany to accept responsibility for the damage caused to Poland during World War II and to pay reparations to the Polish state.
It has also been reported that Ukraine expects to receive at least $300 billion in reparations from Russia. This is what Minister of Justice Denis Malyuska said.
