Today, the amount of compensation for the shelter of internally displaced persons is now 450 UAH per month for each person.
From now on, not only state and community enterprises, but also legal entities, sole proprietors, religious organizations and others will have the right to compensation for hosting internally displaced people. This was announced on Friday, September 16, by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
It was clarified that the compensation is UAH 450 per month for each person and must cover the cost of equipment.
“Another major change: the compensation for the HPE shelter will not be calculated when subsidies for housing and community services are calculated as received income. This means that it will not affect the size of the subsidy and it will not be reduced. This change was developed by the Ministry of Social Policy,” said the message.
They also added that from October 1, this amount will double.
Recall that from October 1, the Ministry of Social Policy plans to introduce the Unified Information System for the Social Sphere (UISS) in all regions of Ukraine. This will allow the centralization of the appointment, accrual and payment of IDPs, which will significantly speed up the reception of assistance and solutions to the problematic issues of migrants.
