It is allowed to apply for registration, re-registration of a vehicle and order license plates online.
Individuals and legal entities can receive additional services online without contacting the territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was announced by the head of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Rudik at a briefing on September 13
According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted amendments to the law, according to which it is allowed to apply for registration, re-registration of a vehicle and order license plates online.
“The possibility of online registration of a car is planned to be introduced by separating the expert study from the registration procedure. Thus, if there is a preliminary study of the car, it is possible to reduce the time required for registration procedure in 20 minutes,” said Rudik.
He noted that with the help of the driver’s electronic account on the service center website or the Diya application, it is planned to provide the opportunity to choose any license plate that can be ordered and receive it in the future. It is also possible to draw up a contract for the sale of a vehicle online.
It is also planned to continue providing driver’s license exchange services.
According to Rudik, the corresponding service will be restored approximately next month.
“If there is no physical appeal at the territorial service center, a person can apply using the driver’s electronic account for a driver’s license in case of loss or replacement and choose a convenient way to receive a manufactured driver’s license, for example, through the Ukrposhta branch,” he said.
Also among the legislative changes is an expanded list of registration actions related to state registration / re-registration of a vehicle, which is carried out without an expert study of the vehicle. This is the restoration of documents for a vehicle in case of loss or replacement, registration of a vehicle received by inheritance and so on.
Remember that the Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke about new rules for obtaining a driver’s license.
Earlier it was reported that new services have become available to Diya application users, including car sharing service.
