“The situation in the operational zone remains difficult, but controlled. The enemy is conducting aerial reconnaissance, constantly firing at the positions of our units, trying to take steps to restore lost positions, maneuver troops, simulate the arrival of reserves. Having no success on the ground, during the day of the battle the enemy made 19 air strikes on the line of contact,” he said.
According to him, the Ukrainian aviation in the southern direction delivered three strikes in one day.
In addition, rocket and artillery units completed 270 fire missions associated with the destruction of an area where enemy weapons and equipment were concentrated, an electronic warfare station, and two ammunition depots.
Recall that the Ukrainian military liberated another settlement in the Kharkiv region – the village of Chkalovsk.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the de-occupation of Vasilenkovo and Artemovka by the Ukrainian military.
