Israeli authorities said they had already informed the airlines that they would not be able to land these aircraft in the country.

From March 31, 2023, Israeli authorities will ban flights of Boeing 747 and four-engine aircraft to reduce noise levels and improve the environment. On Sunday, September 4, according to Reuters.

Israeli authorities said they have informed airlines that they will not be able to land large aircraft at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv from the 2023 summer season.

The agency said the restriction would affect major aircraft, as most passenger carriers have stopped using Boeing 747s and other four-engine aircraft on routes to Israel.

The operation of such aircraft will be allowed in exceptional cases and only with a special permit.

Israeli airline El A has retired its 747 fleet and uses twin-engine Boeing 777s and 787s on long-haul routes.

Remember, Boeing announced the release of a new model of the cargo aircraft 777-8 Freighter.

Earlier, Israel for the first time in history used the services of a private company to organize official visits by the head of government.
