Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories were urged not to participate in any “referendum” and to evacuate.
For participating in fake “referendums” that the Russian Federation intends to hold in the temporarily occupied territories, citizens of Ukraine face criminal prosecution. This was announced on Saturday, August 3, by the Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk, on the air of the telethon.
“For our citizens who will participate in this (referendum – ed.), this is, in fact, an article of the Criminal Code. So I again urge everyone who can to evacuate, and if it happens that people are forced to stay in uncontrolled territories – not to participate in any “referendum”, – said Vereshchuk.
He also added that the civilized world will never recognize the results of such a pseudo-referendum, because “it’s all a farce and a circus.”
Recall that the Ukrainian intelligence met the residents of the occupied Melitopol who agreed to participate in the pseudo-referendum and took part in the meeting of the organization on July 31 in this regard.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian authorities postponed the pseudo-referendums in the “LPR”, “DPR”, as well as in the occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine until the end of autumn.
