The court found the intruder guilty of high treason committed under martial law.
The court assigned 15 years in prison to the militant “DPR” who “guarded” the captured bridges in the Zaporozhye region for Russia. This was reported by the SBU on Saturday, September 3.
It was indicated that at the end of June the attacker was detained during a military clash in the Zaporozhye region. This is a resident of the Donetsk region, who in 2015 joined the so-called “People’s Militia of the DNR”. While in the “position” of a grenade launcher, he actively participated in battles against ATO units in eastern Ukraine.
At the beginning of the full Russian invasion, he fought against Ukraine as part of the 129th Infantry Regiment of the 70th Army from Russia. As part of the enemy’s troops, the attacker was on duty at the occupiers’ checkpoints in the temporarily occupied villages of Zaozernoe and Novogrigorievka, Kherson region.
Then he was assigned to “guard” the captured bridges in Zaporozhye, which the enemy used to transport weapons and ammunition.
The court found the intruder guilty of high treason committed under martial law and participating in the activities of armed groups not provided for by law.
It was previously reported that the court sentenced the Russian tank commander. The suspect confessed to the crime and sincerely repented.
