In the Kyiv region, on Thursday night, September 1, it was possible to put out four peat bog fires. The killing of two others continues, the State Emergency Service reported.
It was noted that the fires were removed in:

In. Zdvizhevka, Buchansky district, on an area of 0.2 ha;

In. Shibenoye, Buchansky district, on an area of 0.3 ha;

In. Buchansky district parking lot – on an area of 0.7 hectares;

In. Fenevichi, Vyshgorodsky district, on an area of 0.003 ha.
“Two fires are being extinguished: the village of Sosnovka in the Vyshgorod region and the village of Mikhailovskaya-Rubezhovka in the Buchansk region,” rescuers added.
The State Emergency Service urged citizens to remain calm and stressed that the situation with fires in the region’s ecosystems is fully under control.
Earlier it was reported that peat bogs burned near Kyiv, citizens were urged to close the windows.
Recall that peat bogs also burned near Kyiv last week. And on August 29, the air in Kyiv was reported to have returned to normal.
